When we landed, I was all alone and separated from everyone else, so I decided to go explore the region. My botanist instincts led me to start exploring the plants of the savanna.
I saw tall grasses such as:

This Rhodes grass is common in the African savannas. It has adapted to the dry season of the environment by being drought resistant.
Grasses of the savanna often grow in thick clumps, with bare ground in between.

Many plants, like this baobab tree, have adaptations that help them survive the dry season. Baobabs store water in their tree trunk and pull from this water to survive during the dry season.
We also found leaves, flowers, seeds, and pods of trees to be edible. Some trees that we came across were:

While searching for food, we realized that we won't be able to survive just from hunting for animals. Therefore, I looked around for edible plants or fruits.
