When the plane crashed, I noticed we were in a land very different from where we had come from. The overall atmosphere was different, and the temperature as well was a bit warmer. Fortunately, it was raining, which meant that there would be a water source for us while we stayed, at least for a while. Luckily, I had salvaged the one satchel of mine from the plane crash that contained multiple meteorology instruments.

The color of the grass also indicates what season it is: in this picture, it is the rainy season since the grass is greener.

Finally, some of the small observations I took down that contributed to making the grassland tropical and not temperate were:
